On Sept 9th from 9am to 3pm at Keyano Corner Grounds in Fort Mcmurray, NEAFAN (Northeast Alberta Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Network) will join FASD organizations around the world to raise awareness of the risks of drinking during pregnancy.
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) describe the birth defects that can occur when a pregnant woman consumes alcohol. Informational booths to increase awareness and distribute FASD educational materials will be set up at this location.
Please share this information and invite your friends to join us in reminding pregnant women that there is no safe amount of alcohol during pregnancy. The event will be catered by Keyano.
